Ale v\u017edy ho p\u0159itahovaly expresivn\u00ed a kompozi\u010dn\u00ed mo\u017enosti kol\u00e1\u017ee. Pr\u00e1v\u011b proto za\u010dal v ur\u010dit\u00e9m okam\u017eiku v sv\u00e9 kari\u00e9ry experimentovat s p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edmi materi\u00e1ly um\u00edst\u011bn\u00fdmi v kau\u010duku. Tato technika p\u0159inesla zaj\u00edmav\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky a pomohla mu v rozvinut\u00ed p\u0159edstavivosti. D\u00edky t\u00e9to prvn\u00ed zku\u0161enosti Yellin pochopil, \u017ee kol\u00e1\u017e nutn\u011b nemus\u00ed b\u00fdt pouze rovinn\u00e1 tvorba ale pr\u00e1v\u011b naopak.
